The French bisquine La Cancalaise put on a spectactular display of full sail as she left the harbour, closely followed by le Grand Lejon hoisting sail at the harbour entrance. This is the lugger I was on yesterday - PZ111 Pet - a class two pilchard driver. No engine, so it is under tow out into the bay. Other luggers followed, FY28 Elizabeth Mary, accompanied by the committee boat. PZ595 Girl Sybil and Hoya.
