A38 Dobwalls Bypass - Monthly changes at Moorswater3rd November 2007 - Tarmac has been laid for the Eastern carriageway. The Moorswater distributor road can be seen clearly now below the A38, and we can see the East Looe River flowing along the new culverts. 21st October 2007 - Here we look over the East looe River culverts towards Looe Mills. The foundation work continues for the Eastern carriageway, the tarmac surface of the footpath has been laid and we are able to walk along this route. A fence is being built by the embankment. 7th October 2007 - The Eastern carriageway is taking shape and the culverts over the East Looe River are being levelled. Over the other side of the road a small wall is being built and the foundations of the Eastern carriageway are being laid. 31st August 2007 - This is the view East from Looe Mills. Traffic is contra-flowed by the Moorswater industrial estate junction. 16th August 2007 - Work at Moorswater continues to extend the existing dual carrigeway. The culverts over the East Looe River are being levelled. 29th July 2007 - Excavations continue for the route of the eastern carriageway. 8th July 2007 - Work continues at the western end of the existing Liskeard bypass to widen the single carriageway just to the east of Moorswater. 19th June 2007 - Brick and infill work continues. 3rd June 2007 - The East Looe River is now flowing through the culverts and brick work is being built around the ends of the pre cast blocks. The new Moorswater collector distributor road and access to the existing industrial units will be constructed over these culverts. The East Looe River is now flowing through the new culvert. 19th May 2007 - Work continues to culvert the East Looe River infilling around the precast blocks. Another set of precast blocks for the culvery are laid and shuttering erected. 27th April 2007 - Extending the culvert for the East Looe River. Opposite the layby is closed of for the cutting to be extended. 21st April 2007 - Work continues to culvert the East Looe River. 1st April 2007 - By the following day 10 pre cast blocks are in place. 31st March 2007 - The East Looe River has been temporary diverted whilst pre formed rectangular structures are lowered into place and sealed. 18th March 2007 - The crash barriers and central reservation are being filled in to help diverting traffic onto temporary lanes as work starts.
