SX 015 447 The cornish fishing port of Mevagissey lies just to the South of St Austell.
The port has an inner and outer harbour.
Fishing boats and pleasure craft both use the harbours.
The fishing boats head out into Mevagissey bay.
There are still the remains of the old lifeboat slipway. Today the all weather lifeboat is based in Fowey.
There are boat trips along the coast.
