The city has its own character from a mix of French, Italian and Provencal. Known for its "belle époqué". Climb up to the Colline du Chàteau for panoramic views west down the Promenade des Anglais to the airport or east over the port, where we can see cruise liners and the ferries to Corsica. Along the Quai des Etats Unis, we find the private hotel beaches. Art deco - belle époqué at night. In the old town Vieillé Ville is Cours Saleya where there is a daily flower and produce market.
