2nd May 2009 - Looe Powerboat weekend
Looe hosted the first rounds of the National Powerboat Racing Championships.
The "dry" pits are situated a Pearn's boatyard above the bridge.
The powerboats pass the banjo Pier.
The pilots acknowledge the crowds on the pier.
Out in Looe bay the race starts.
After the race the powerboats return up river to the dry pits.
