25th August 2008 - Newlyn Fish Festival - Gig racing
Local gig clubs compete for the Trafalgar Trophy.
In alphabetical order they parade around the inner harbour.
The lifeboat goes out into the bay to protect the gigs.
Whilst the inshore rib leads the procession of gigs.
After the race the water jets from the Coastguard craft welcomes the winners, Kensa.
In the bay jet skis show off their agility.
