6th November 2009 - Pelican feeding - Kingscote - Kangaroo Island
Kingscote is the largest town on Kangaroo Island in South Australia.
One of the locals has been out fishing and every evening at 5pm he feeds the pelicans.
Seagulls also want to get into the act,
Pelicans gather on the jetty rocks.
more Pelicans arrive as 5pm approaches.
Handfulls of fish are met with wide open beaks.
He takes the rest of the fish out into the lagoon.
Where they all squabble over whats left.
Contentment after a feed!.
