10th November 2007 - Titan Arum at Eden
A Titan Arum is often referred to as "the most smelliest plant in the world".
It's latin name is Amorphophallus Titanum and when the plant flowers it only lasts 48 hours. The flower has such a foul odour that it is also called the corpse plant.

According to Eden's web site this is their third flowering specimen, all raised by Tim Grigg.
