A38 Dobwalls Bypass - September 2007 - A390 railway bridgeI have not taken so many pictures at this location and over the last month a lot of earth has been moved. These are taken from beneathway looking west over the railway line. Looking over from the A38 we can see the start of a temporary road that will take the A390 traffic onto the new roundabout. The north east side of the railway track is being cleared. This is the temporary road looking NE towards the A38 & roundabout. On the SW of the railway track earth from the roundabout excavations is used for the embankment. And looking west along this new embankment to rejoin the A390. As I walked under the bridge a train came along. Looking back from Treburgie you can see the height of the embankment. |
