A38 Dobwalls Bypass - October 2007 - New roundaboutTarmac has been laid and white lines painted. The Eastbound traffic coming from the Doublebois direction is directed onto the realigned A38 and onto the new roundabout. The Westbound traffic stays on the old A38 until the new westbound carrigeway is finished. Traffic starts to negociate the new roundabout. Only one lane on the roundabout is currently in use. Looking West we see the A38 to Doublebois and East we can see the exit onto the bypass towards havett Hill Later in the month the westbound traffic is also diverted onto the roundabout. The original A38 lies disused and the cats eyes have already been removed. Diverting the traffic allows the contrcators to finish the exit for the new A390 and temporary road to the railway bridge. Looking west we can see the realigned A38 is higher than the original route. To the east we see the coumpound entrance
