A38 Dobwalls Bypass - June 2007 - Western end of Liskeard BypassWork has begun at the western end of the existing Liskeard bypass where it reverts to single carriageway just to the east of Moorswater. A new embankment is being cut into the valley by the existing layby. The footpath and cycle way have been temporaly diverted behind a new Cornish stone wall. Trenches are being dug to divert the BT cables. A traffic contraflow on the Western carriageway has allowed The Eastern carriageway to be closed, ready for the new western lane of the dobwalls by pass to be tied in. later in the month more earth is removed and the line of the cutting becomes clearer. |
