A38 Dobwalls Bypass - April 2007 - LantoomFrom Lantoom the route of the bypass goes North West to Havett Hill, passing Tuelmenna Woods and Havett Farm. From Tuelmenna we can look south over the valley. Down to Lantoom Quarry and the temporary lights on the hill. At Lantoom work has started on the route for the Moorswater distributor road. Heavy plant prepares the route for the Moorswater distributor road. This is the view looking East back towards Moorswater. All of the tree roots have now been removed. Looking North West we can see the cutting at Havett Hill in the distance. In the valley the earth is starting to be used for infill. There are temporary lights on the hill, so heavy plant can transport the earth down into the valley. Where the earth is used for infill. This is where the slip road will take you from the bypass into the village. |
