This is a mix of signs and other road furniture that will disappear as work progresses.)

A listed milepost at Straches, the traffic camera monitoring the traffic lights at five lanes and an emergency SOS telephone in the layby at Llantoom Quarry.
The railway bridge at Treburgie and the first of the large projects signs appears, however no large blue ones yet.

The blue Highways signs did not start appearing until the Sping of 2007. Also as the groundworks get fenced off Health and Safety signs appear.
