A38 Dobwalls Bypass - November 2007 - Railway bridgeOvernight on the 28th October the temporary diversion of the A390 was opened. With the traffic lights switched off at Five lanes, A390 traffic is now using the roundabout. This will allow the infill of the existing A390 to create the embankment over the railway bridge. Within the first week the old A390 has disappeared. And the height of the embankment increases. Below is the old A390 going down from Five lanes. Here we can already see the earth being moved. Looking back East the road is now unused except for site traffic. |
