Planel Panoramas.

The May 2015 issue of Outdoor Photography dropped through the letterbox this morning.

An article on digital panoramas got me playing around with some of my mobile phone panoramas.

It is relatively easy to create a planet panorama.
When you are happy with your panorama, the technique is to resize your panorama into a square and apply a distort filter.

1. - on the image size dialogue change the height value to match the length and uncheck constrain proportions, This creates a distorted square image

2. - flip this image vertically

3. - use the filter distort menu to select polar co-ordinates and check the rectangular to polar option

4. - use the clone tool to tidy up the straight edge join

fianlly - enjoy experimenting
