A38 Dobwalls Bypass - November 2008- Railway bridgeWork continues to move the earth over the new tunnel. The work specifications are allowing 1m of infill per week. The level is nearly there. This allows the route of the new A390 to be excavated. The size of the site compound is reduced to allow the earth to pile up. Embankments are created for the new A390. The temporary road still carries the traffic bu the old A38 each side is being cleared. The garden sheds have been cleared from the old site Pearce's portable buildings and the road into the village is quiet. |
