A38 Dobwalls Bypass - April 2008- Railway BridgeAs the last train passed over the railway bridge just before midnight on Saturday more precast tunnel sections were lowered into place. I was not awake at this time of night but next morning we can see several more sections are now in place. The views above are from Beneathway, the old A390 where the old road has been infilled, and along the A38 above the site compound. Down by the railway bridge we can see the tunnel appearing over the embankment. The tunnel is about 2/3rds finished. |
