A38 Dobwalls Bypass - January 2009- Five lanesOn the 5th January the old A38 has been closed from the old traffic lights at five lanes to the new roundabout. This is allow what the contractors call "detrunking". This will allow the construction of new roundabout junctions and realignment of the road out of the village. Access for residents is maintained but the road is so quiet without any traffic. To get into the village from the west you have to drive down the bypass and use lantoom junction and drive back up the Moorswater distributor road into the village. To go west from the village drive down to the Petersfield junction and join the bypass. |
