A38 Dobwalls Bypass - February 2007 - Work continues

During February I walked the route of the new bypass from East to West.

Starting at Moorswater trees are being cleared and the traffic is being diverted through at 30mph contraflow. A38 - Moorswater A38 - Moorswater

Beside Manuscript the banks of the East Looe River are being cleared. A38 - East Looe River A38 - East Looe River

At Looe Mills the bungalow is being used as the site office. A38 - Looe Mills A38 - Looe Mills

At Lantoom the trees by the layby have been felled. A38 - Lantoom A38 - Lantoom

And you can begin to see the line of the new Moorswater distributor road. A38 - Lantoom A38 - Lantoom

Trees in the valley are being cleared. towards Havett Hill towards Havett Hill

And further up the hill you can see the route North West to Havett Hill. towards Havett Hill towards Havett Hill

At Havett Hill work has begun on building a temporary road to the West of the lane.
Traffic will be diverted whilst the bridge over the new bypass is built. Havett Hill Havett Hill

Not much is happening on Coldwinds Lane. A38 - towards Havett Hill

At the site compound on the A38 to the West of the village temporary lights will control heavy plant crossing to construct the new roundabout. Temporary Lights Temporary Lights

On the A390 at Treburgie access to the Railway has been contstructed and more trees are cleared.
