A38 Dobwalls Bypass - February 2009- A390 opens westwards
During the week I noticed that white lines have been painted on the new A390.

On Sunday the 15th February there was a lot of activity cleaning the road surface, talking to the traffic management team they told me the western lane was being opened at 4pm this afternoon.

Sure enough around 4pm traffic started to use the western lane over the railway.

For the moment traffic travelling east still uses the old road. This is to allow the junction at Treburgie water to be finished.
