11 June 2017 Looe Lugger Regatta
Grayhound.
To quote the Cornish Lugger Association the bi-annual Looe Lugger Regatta is "Fishing boats under sail returning to their spiritual home"
Poor weather conditions in the week prevented several luggers making passage to Looe. For those that did arrive during the break in the weather on Friday, Saturday's racing was cancelled as the weather came in again.
Sunday saw overcast skies as the luggers slipped their moorings on high tide to make their way out into Looe bay to race.
