After lunch we walk from San Zaccaria along the Riva degli Schiavoni looking for
a vantage point to watch the Regatta Storica and the historic water pageant.

Close to the Rio de l'Arsenal a solar powered vessel is moored alongside the Riva degli Schiavoni quay.
Currently being used as a floating marine research laboratory by Geneva University,
the MS Tûranor PlanetSolar is the largest solar-powered boat in the world.
Moored alongside the Riva degli Schiavoni for the Regatta the crew were giving organised tours of this high tech vessel.
