Padstow's Tamar class lifeboat 16-04 Spirit of Padstow, with it's Y boat and Rock RNLI's D class D-634 Rusper head out into the Camel estuary.
All of the action takes place very close to the harbour walls.
A crewman is in the water!
Rescue 193, a Sea King from 771 Naval Air Squardeon RNAS Culdrose arrives on scene.
The diver is lowered on the winch.
The RNLI crewman is winched out of the sea.
Rescue 193 lines up, ready to transfer the crewman back onto the Spirit of Padstow.
The RNLI crewman is lowered onto the stern of the Spirit of Padstow.
Green flag indicates OK to procede.
On deck!
Red flag - recovery complete.
A crewman is transferred to and from Rock RNLI's D class Rusper.
At the end of the exercise Rusper returns to Padstow harbour.
Rescue 193 leaves.
The Spirit of Padstow's Y boat is recovered.
Newquay RNLI arrives on scene with their Atlantic 85 B-821 Gladys Mildred.
