17th May 2013 - Polo on the beach - Watergate bay.

Whilst I was watching the surfers on Watergate bay, the Extreme Academy and Veuve Clicquot
bought some of the polo ponies down onto the beach to promote this weekend's Polo on the beach event.

Three polo players, Andy Burgess, Rob Brockett and Major Ben Marshall representing "Team Joules" and "Team First Great Western" exercised the ponies along the surf line.

Andy Burgess riding his school pony Tonka, gallop out of the surf.

Andy told me later that Tonka with his ears pricked really enjoyed the shoreline.

The polo ponies enjoyed the surf.

Wearing number 1 is Rob Brockett from Lytchett heath Polo Club, number 2 is Andy Burgess from South West Polo and number 3 is Major Ben Marshall.

This was a "press call" to promote this weekend's two polo matches and The Devil's Horsemen cossack display.

Andy Burgess of South West Polo will again be Team Joules captain.

Dreya Bennett is a champion Gladiator and Veuve Clicquot world record breaking kitesurfer.

She will compete against Andy Burgess of South West Polo in a "kite vs horse" challenge along the shoreline.
