4th June 2012 - Looe's Diamond Jubilee Beacon on the Wooldown burns brightly.

With the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Thames River pageant well under way Looe stages it's own river flotilla.

10.15pm as dusk falls, Looe's Diamond Jubilee Beacon is lit by Jeanne Dingle and Colin Shore.

The Wooldown is high up above the beach on East Cliff.

As we waited for the beacon, dusk falls on Looe.

God save the Queen!.
