In the afternoon the Old Oss and Blue Oss leave their respective stables and make their way to the maypole, where they meet up.
The square is full of musicians Oss supporters and spectators who watch and sing as the Oss's dance around the maypole.
After a while the Red Oss moves out of the square.
Posters around the town ask the town to "Greet the Day".
The Blue Oss Master of Ceremonies is Edward "Teddy" Ballard.
The Blue Oss leaves the square and the musicians and supporters make their way to the parish church.
The church is packed as we await the arrival of the Blue Oss.
The Blue Oss dances in the aisles.
The bluebells are out at Prideaux Place.
