We parked at Hannafore and walked down to the old shelter with it's view over white rock and the Banjo Pier.
This is the Banjo Pier looking down from Rock Towers.
The walk along Pennylands was interesting, dodging the spray from the breaking waves.
Along West Looe Quay the boats are straining against their mooring ropes.
Says it all really! - strong southerly wind.
It was difficult to stand still on East Looe seafront.
Blasted by beach sand blown up in the wind, buffeted by the winds and sea spray to contend with.
Over on second beach there was an incredible amount of foam / froth whipped up by the waves.
After a coffee to warm ourselves up we walked back along East Looe Quay.
Back on the seafront surfers braved the waves.
Walking back to Hannaforfe via Pennylands we look down the river and out to sea.
Stopping again at Rock Towers.
Even though it is now some 2 hours after hide tide the sea is still strong and high enough to break over the Banjo Pier.
