1st September 2011 - America's Cup World Series - Plymouth - Preparations.

Plymouth Sound will host the second stop of the inaugural America's Cup World Series - part of the 34th America's Cup.

Starting in Cascais Portugal, the second stop is here in Plymouth, Devon, Engalnd. The series then moves on to San Diego for stop three and finally Newport Rhode Island for the fourth and final stop.

Promotional flags fly all over Plymouth.

Energy Team's wing sail is lowered onto the catamarans's hull.

The complete ac45 will then be lowered into the water.

Team Aleph take their ac45 out into Plymouth Sound for it's first sea trial.
