Another large expanse of shingle beach, with quarries on either side.
Quarrying started in the 19th century and now disused, this large concrete silo once contained stone agregate, ships moored alongside and were loaded via the metal shutes.
Stone from here was used to build Cornwall's wartime airfields. The quarry to the South is still worked for its dark green diorite rock mass and it has a large concrete quay for direct loading onto coasters.
There are several winch huts along the base of the cliff.
