26th July 2016 - Man Engine visits Liskeard.

The Man Engine is billed as largest mechanical puppet ever constructed in Britain when transformed to his full 10m height.

Liskeard is the second day of the 14 day tour of Cornwall.

The man Engine was devised and created by Will Coleman of Golden Tree productions.

In Liskeard due to a technical hitch the transformaton was dreckly - 1 hour later than planned.

In Cornish mines A Man Engine was a mechanism of moving rods and platforms allowing miners
to travel up and down to working levels instead of climbing long ladders.
