Tonight is a very low spring tide.
Looe RNLI's D-class lifeboat D-741 Ollie Naismith is undergoing a refit so a relief craft D-710 Charles Blankstone is on station.
There is a swell running in the bay just off the Banjo Pier.
There is enough water in the river for the D class to launch,
however the Atlantic 75 B-793 Alan and Margaret has to be driven out past the Banjo Pier to launch.
