8th March 2015 - St Piran's promenade play.

Organised by the St Pirans Trust local actors and musicians perform a promenade play amongst the dunes of Gear Sands to celebrate St Piran's day.

Held on the closest Sunday to St Piran's day (5th March)

This years event takes on a different format to celebrate the excavation of the Oratory in the dunes.

Earlier musicians and pilgrims make their way over the dunes to the sire of St Piran's Oratory.

St Piran, play by Colin Retallick, amkes an appearance.

Deputy Grand Bard Merv Davey plays the bagpipes.

St Piran leads the procession to the later church and Cross in the dunes.

The Falmouth Marine Band.

St Piran addresses the pilgrims as choirs sing.
