12th August 2014 - British Firework Championships - Plymouth - Day 1.

Plymouth hosts the British Firework Championships for the 19th time.

Crowds pack Plymouth Hoe and surrounding view points for the first three displays.

Shellscape Pyrotechnics are the first to display.

Next to display are Blitz Fireworks.

The third and final display for the first evening is from Northern Lights Fireworks.

After another three displays tomorrow ( Wednesday) evening a winner will be chosen by the judges.

The second display tonight by Blitz Fireworks was declared winner of day 1 and they were also chosen as overall winners.
