The Victorian cemetery is set in mature woodlands and has the East Coast mainline on it's Western boundary,
and the Chesterfirld canal on it's Eastern side.
The Cherry Trees are in full blossom.

Just as I reach the canal, a narrowboat passes on it's way to Retford town.
Engineered by James Brindley, construction of the Chesterfireld canal started in the summer of 1771.
