This year's display was more of a challenge as it co-incided with high tides and a strong swell.
One of the breakers came over the banjo Pier and threatened to swamp the fireworks and connections.
Postponing the display for 30 minutes.
What a great idea to include children who would not be awake for the traditional fireworks at midnight.
Unfortunatley it started to rain just as the display started, giving me a challenge to make these images.
Returning to the beach for midnight, clear skies and low tide greated everyone who gathered to see in the New Year.
All were in agreement, the best New Year's display so far.
Happy new year from Looe.
