Luggers are already starting to arrive in the port ready for the weekend's sailing and festivities.
Sailing into Looe Bay is The Grayhound, this three masted lugger is a replica of a 1776 Cornish smuggling lugger.
This replica was built just around the Rame headland in Millbrook and was launched on "Super Saturday" 4th August 2012.
As The Grayhound moors in the bay whilst waiting for a berth on the quayside, modern fishing boats pass their traditional forefathers.
Also out in the bay are Mirror, Redwing, Enterprise and Laser sailing dinghies from Looe Sailing Club.
Looe Rowing Club are also out training in their pilot gigs.
