Pathfinder railtours have organised a charter train from Bristol to Looe return.
The charter train also called at Exmouth before heading to Liskeard for the Looe Valley branch line
to visit the lefarge cement works at Moorswater and Looe.
Nine coaches with a Class 37 loco at each end passes Terras Pil to arrive in Looe just after 4pm.
Earlier at Liskeard the nine coach train formation arrives in Liskeard at 14.21. Hauled by three Class 37's, 37218, 37609 at the front and 37608 at the rear.
37608 struggles at the points as she tries to move the train onto the "up" line.
Sparks fly from the bogey as the wheels struggle for traction.
The Hulla-ba-Looe moves onto the Looe Valley branch line.
and arrives at Platform three.
Recently the operators of the lefarge cement works at Moorswater have taken a decision to cease rail movements
and transport raw materials and finished product by road.
This has allowed a very rare opportunity for the train to visit the cement works before the track is decommissioned.
After visiting the cement works the train heads for Looe, returning to Liskeard at 17.15.
The Hulla-ba-Looe passes the cottages at Sandplace on the return journey.
and passes through Sandplace station.
