2nd June 2011 - More luggers arrive for this weekend's Looe Lugger Regatta.

Returning to Looe seafront on Thursday evening six more luggers have arrived for this weekend's Looe Lugger Regatta.

Thusrday is also sailing night for Looe sailing club's fleet of the smaller Mirror dingies, Redwings and blue sailed Enterprises.

As high tide approaches the luggers amke their way up river to moor on West Looe Quayside.

FY 59 with the dark blue hull is Reliance built at Mevagissey in 1903
The light blue hulled lugger is PZ 144 Snowdrop was formerly registered as FY104 at was built at Porthleven in 1920.
