We parked at Caffa Mill, which is alongside the Bodinnick ferry. Bodinnick on the eastern shore of the river Fowey is famous for the "Old Ferry Inn" and "Ferryside", once the home of English author Daphne Du Maurier.
As we walk south we pass the RNLI jetty where the Trent class Maurice and Joyce Hardy is moored ready for the next shout.
As Easter is late this year the yellow mooring buoys in the river await the visiting yachts.
Passing Town Quay we walk along the Esplanade and Tower Park.
As the river estuary widens we have a wonderful view East over Polruan as a sailing dingy and pleasure boat trip pass by.
