The lantern parade brings Eastern promise into the town. The procession finished outside Webbs House on the parade.
As the parade arrives at Webbs House, fireworks exploded over the town to mark the switching on of the Christmas lights.
Many of the lanterns are large and elaborate.
There is a large Christmas Tree on the parade.
Earlier in the evening as dusk fell, Liskeard Silver band lead the procession.
The procession turns into Barras Street.
Artists, schools and community groups have been working hard over the last few months creating thier masterpieces.
The procession then goes down Pike Street before turning into Fore Street.
Face painted musicians perform at the back of the procession.
The lanterns go back up Bay Tree Hill before returning to The Parade outside Webbs House.
Luckily the rain held off for the firework display.
