The Yakovlevs aerobatic display team is led by a Super Yak 52, followed by three Yak 50 Russian aerobatic aircraft.
The team flies Russian aircraft made by the Yakovlevs design bureau.
These reliable and robust aircraft were designed for training and world class aerobatic competitions.
The Yak 52, known as the Super 52 is an unique two seater aeroplane specifically developed for the team.
The Yak 50's are single seaters.
For these images I decided to use Smeatons tower as a focal point.
I lined up these two images to suggest the Yak50 flew straight into one window - and out of one on the other side!.
As the team looped the loop right above the lighthouse.
