16th August 2006 - British fireworks festival, Plymouth
For several years Plymouth has hosted the British fireworks festival.
This year 8 teams competed for thre Champion of Champions.
Plymouth Sound is full of small boats looking for a spectatular viewpoint.
This year Dr Roy Lowry of the University of Plymouth attempted to break the "40,000 rockets in five seconds" world record held by Terry McDonald from Jersey, with the simultaneous firing of more than 57,000 rockets.
